Problems with Dawson's web emulator

Hi, have you noticed what is now appearing on Dawson's site? Is the appeal real? I intend to make a small donation.
Then I would need to run the Javascript on another website, is that possible? How to do? Is there another similar emulator?

Hmm, it being a Bitcon-only-link is making me suspicious, even more so since there is no more personal data in the pop-up-window, but indeed the text could be used as such on any website. This makes me suspect the website has been hacked - most likely by an automated script that scans for vulnerable websites and automatically adds this banner.

Maybe someone can contact Matt directly to confirm or deny? The contact-info on his website just says "none" - but this may also well be the work of a hack.

I made an announcement about this last week (viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10059 ), but I never considered it could have been a hack. I haven't heard from Dawson directly. I hope he's ok all the same.

Have you already tried https://nippur72.github.io/vic20-emu ? It has zero user interface but the emulation is quite accurate (tough not comparable to VICE).

yes you can load an external .prg file with something like this:

(joy=1 is used to turn joystick emulation with cursor keys, you can omit it)
