Mastertronic Games Collection in disk format

Post by oracle_jedi »

Attached is a collection of all of the Mastertronic games for the VIC20.

Most of these were already dumped to disk, so it was largely a case of collecting them into a single D64 image.

Some of them I could not find a disk dump of, so I dumped them. I have tried to patch all games to make them NTSC friendly, and for those that are multi-part, they should load from whatever device number you mount the disk image as.

The complete game list is:

3D Maze
Bullet
Crazey Cavey
Doodle Bug
Duck Shoot
Hektik (+8K)
Kingtut
New York Blitz
RIP
Rockman
Phantom Attack
Psycho Shopper (+16K)
Space Scramble
Sub Hunt
Undermine
Vegas Jackpot

Mastertronic games were mostly awful. But there are a few good ones in there too. AFAIK this is everything they did for the VIC, but if you know of any others please let me know.

Thanks a lot for this collection! There's a huge variety in these game's quality indeed :)

There's also Loco-motion in this list: http://www.computinghistory.org.uk/cgi/ ... order=Date

...but it's probably a mistake, as the cover picture depicts an Armstrad game.

Neutron Zapper is on the disk, I must have missed it when typing the list into the note!

I patched it to make it NTSC friendly, so we can enjoy the excitement this side of the Atlantic :D

Nice one. There's a few decent titles in there, Crazy Cavey and Rockman probably my favourites.
