ToA was tape only for the Vic, the Zimmer version is a disk hack. I'm just glad I have all seven Epyx games CIB :)

Congratulations. This is the holy grail of VIC-20 collecting, as far as I'm concerned. Is this version on disk or on tape? I know that the one you download from zimmers is a disk-based version...
Thanks very much! As Mayhem says, it's the tape version - the disk version being a hack. Remember, your game is the very first Vic 20 RPG released on disc! ;) ...Anyway, can I ask why you consider it to be the Holy Grail of Vic stuff? Is it just because you really like the game and have a special place in your heart for it? Or is it now very rare? Please share! :)

Yup, I sent Marko Makela a tape dump of my ToA and he "diskified" it for Zimmers.

The answer to your question and more. "C" after the product number stands for "Cassette", "R" for cartridge ("ROM"?).

Despite the obfuscation of bidder ID in eBay now, I knew you'd won these two. Perhaps I shouldn't have bid the auction up so high now...

(yeah it was me sniping at the end)

I know you missed out on Zeela's sale now Bo, but I did get the bits needed for GB20 from him... and I'll have to go through your site at some point and list everything I need from you.

I used to love Spectre when I was wee. I'd spend hours playing that one. It really caught my imagination for some reason... It still holds up pretty well these days. I'd love to see a slightly more fleshed out and updated version. :)

Just bought 3 games:

Hopping Mad (much to Bokvammes chagrine...sorry Bo!)
Birds of Prey
and Vic-Men

Cost me a bloody fortune! It makes me happy though. :)

Just an observation but is there less and less Vic stuff floating about these days? And isn't it getting more expensive??

I need Hopping Mad as well for GB20. TAP definitely, I've got an inlay but a better scan would be useful.

I've just found the seller who had all of those... quite how I missed his auctions, I'm not sure. Maybe just as well I didn't get involved in some of the bidding then :P
