Not to me......

I need to spend $ from my budget for spam filtering software at work.

Plus, I get tons of spam on my personal e-mail.

A slow death over buring coals is too good for these folks

$87,000 per year is a lot of money, but tough luck if you're only going to get it if you can find some quality sales representatives in China. If you're not lucky, you may end up with lousy ones who cheat you off. It is a tough market over there, not suitable for newbies with no previous knowledge about how China works.

I guess I was being sardonic. If I ever commit murder, spam will have something to do with it. I can't believe they make enough money for it to be worth the effort. I wish they'd stop sending fake members to this forum. I have to remove at least two fake people every week.

Thanks for the link to the site, Schema!

Most of the fakes are about adding a webpage referral link and/or a link in their signature. The latter requires posting nonsense messages though. In the case of a login protected forum, all these referral links will be a waste of time for the bot or whatever creates these member accounts. I've seen other phpBB forums both add a text recognition field and a custom field in the profile that the phpBB trained bots will not recognize and thus fail to register. I'm not sure if the latter is an official mod or a product of private hacking, but it effectively shuts out bots.
