Black Jack Cart for Vic 20

Post by cvga »

Hi,

I've had my Vic 20 and Commodore 64 for a long time (over 30 years!) but just joined Denial today. I thought you might be interested in seeing this picture of my Black Jack cart for the Vic 20. I think it's still pretty rare.

Welcome! I, for one, have never seen that box.

Welcome CVGA ;)

(yep same guy from AtariAge!)

I suspect people would like to see the box for Bug Crusher too. One question I never asked, can you recall where and when you got the two cartridges? I got quite a few OEM titles from this bankrupt stock seller in California (I forget the name... Williams something?) but never saw either of those two listed.

Thanks for the welcome! I am the same guy from AtariAge. I grew up with an Atari 2600 and a Vic-20 (that we later upgraded to a Commodore 64).

Here's Bug Crusher...

I wish I would have kept better track of when, where and how much I paid for the games I own. I remember that I found Bug Crusher and Black Jack as part of a package deal in a thrift store in Columbus, Ohio at least 15 years ago (and less than 25 years ago). There were some other items also but nothing noteworthy (at least that I can remember) other than a boxed Starplex controller.

At some point in time I talked to Ward Shrake. I think I found his list of known games and either didn't see Black Jack or saw that it was unconfirmed so I let him know that I had one. As I mentioned to Mayhem, unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) it's still sealed and it's in great condition so I've never opened it. I created a post last week on AtariAge wondering how many people collect for the Vic 20 and I posted a picture of Bug Crusher and Black Jack. I've lurked over here before and I thought people might be interested in seeing Black Jack so I signed up and posted the picture here also.

I would but 1) it's still sealed and in incredible condition and 2) it's just black jack. :P
