The 1541 is hooked up via MIDI, right?
I downloaded the VICE source and remembered I don't know C++ for crap. I am busy right now but if no one else gets into it I probably will in March. No promises -- but I'll definitely play around!
VIC-TRACKER COMPO 2005 official thread!
Why would the 1541 be hooked up with midi?????

No, it's not. Perhaps the connections look the same, but the interface protocol (and electrical connections) are different. I think they are both types of serial connections, though.aneurysm wrote:The 1541 is hooked up via MIDI, right?
As far as I know, MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) is only for controlling musical instruments (of course) and also used to control automated stage lighting systems.
I think the video output has the same connector, so maybe you could produce midi signals by showing different patterns on the screen.
