Hi, Misfit!
At last a new game which makes use of a fully bitmapped screen!
One of the effects I really like is how Bertie is 'shadowed off' when going under one of the blocks.
It is compiled C, I suppose? I'm also wondering what led you to the decision to use just 176x160 as resolution and not, for example, 160x192?

Yes, C code for me.Mike wrote:It is compiled C, I suppose? I'm also wondering what led you to the decision to use just 176x160 as resolution and not, for example, 160x192?
I didn't make any decisions about resolution. I used first solution which worked.

Great cover
Each "Denial Software Release" should have a cover.
And maybe also a "label" for the audiocassette itself.

Re: Bertie The Ball (16k)
Well I beat it with save states. At best I can get the key/lamp without save states. But I've got a plan for next time, if you've got the key and some life you can bash your way through the dark room to get the magic by the pit, saves you the grief of going from the start->key->lamp without any recharge. Once I was able to get the key and go through the first line wall without damage, but was promptly murdered by the large line wall by getting stuck bouncing against it and the edge of the platform. It also looks like you can get the crown before getting the lamp. In that case I might not even try for the lamp, but then that would not be a 100% clear.

Nice, nice..
Here few tips how I did it..
key -> lamp -> secret (secret room provides two teleports) -> crown and exit..
It's easy to get all items but I die always before exit.

Fantastic. I wonder how many other gems are lurking in the forum that I didn't see yet.
