tapDancer virtual datasette
Looking for apps on my android, I ran across tapDancer. Was wondering if anyone has seen this or used it. I'm on my phone right now and have no idea how to link it. I found it in the app store when I searched"vic 20". Looks promising.

If you have a proper audio to datassette interface I'm sure it could be handy.

Re: tapDancer virtual datasette
I've been playing with this for about a week and it works great with the VIC-20.
I use an old cassette to audio miniplug adapter like this one:
The turbo speeds didn't work for me on VIC-20, so I used the standard speed setting which worked fine (you have to change this in the settings, as the app installs with one of the turbo settings enabled). I used a Nexus 7 tablet to run the app and ran .prg files which run as expected provided that you have the right memory in the right places depending on the game.
I should also mention that curiously enough, the app doesn't work properly on Asus Transformer 101 tablets. The settings cannot be accessed on TF101, so you can't disable the turbo speed setting to make it work with VIC-20. No problems on Nexus 7 though.
