I need a Basic ROM chip

HI, I can't find a 901486-01 BASIC ROM chip in the UK. Anyone know where I can get one?

If not, could it be replaced with an EPROM?

You can also get it from http://www.3d-video.de/shop/index.html for 6,99 EUR + shipping. Still not in the UK - but closer to home...

@tokra - do you know if this guy still trades? I sent him several requests/emails (in german) earlier this year and got no response.

Nope, never did business with him, just noted the site was listed in a C64-DiskMag once. However since emails sometimes fall off the radar, you should be able to just call him. I see he has a phone-number in the "Impressum" on his page.
