Just so I recognise the bidder in future...

Post by Mayhem »

Was anyone else from here bidding on this game? I know Bo bailed at £38, but I didn't recognise the obfuscated ID of the runner up, so I don't know if I outbid someone on Denial, or whether my stepping in has made sure this is going into GB20... yeah another game that's needed for the cause...

I stuck on a £1 but I left it at that. :)

I contacted the seller,

Hi, I am a member of a large Vic-20 community and wordered if you would pass my details on to the auction winner of the Lyversoft Hi Lo and Hearts game that sold for £54. I have a question for him. Thanks.

Oh... heh... I WON the auction. I was wondering if the person who outbid Bo but came runner up was someone here, and hence I didn't need to bid. But as I didn't recognise the ID then I didn't want to take the chance...

I had to click the auction and see what the hubbub was.

It isn't in Gamebase20, so I guess collectors are after it...

Talking about bidding and eBay etc:

I'm watching eBay for my first VIC-20 - hope I'm not going to have to much competition from you guys / gals looking for a backup machine etc. ;)

It's hard enough justifying spending any £££ on an old computer to the GF as it is
