I'm enjoying my cart very much, the Vic has displaced the C64 next to the xbox.

I have the older megacart with the "Kotzbrocken" title in Loderunner. Other than the name, is the game play and look exactly the same or is it quite a bit different? Also, I saw sombody say that hellgate is unplayable, but mine appears to work fine.

Exactly the same, just the name is "hacked?".

First level is playable, I don't know where the problem happens for the old version, maybe mayhem may help you.

I'm not sure... I've managed to beat the first few levels in the game without any issue (it's not easy!)...

That's cool to know there are over 200 "active" VIC 20 enthusiasts (nerds) still about from the once potential million that were sold. But like the Vulcans in the new Star Trek timeline, we are among the endangered species.

Well I've just been "reborn" after stumbling onto Realms of Quest III and buying a VIC-20 off of e-bay just to enjoy it in floppy goodness, and now I need a 32K expansion!

The mega-cart looks great. I'd settle even for a cheap 16K expansion at this point, but eventually want that mega-cart for sure.

Yes it is better to buy a MegaCart or FE3 to get RAM expansion.

Both cards can freely configure RAM environment and so execute any VIC code.

With normal RAM expansions you will need either many cartridges or maybe a 32K configurable by DIP switch. It is not so comfortable.

Aside of memory expansion, MegaCart and/or FE3 have much mor features ... ;)

It is a work in progress limited by my fantasy but main things are, better integration with SD based drives, CBM-FileBrower, EasyLoad+ fixed for SD drives and SJLOAD07 inclusion plus other things.
