The datasette I use with my Vic20 I aligned using a program on the C64. I swap between the two machines. The 1531 I have for my TAP transfers I aligned using a PC based signal strength program and running it through a few tapes to see where the best position was. I still have to adjust every so often for some cassettes however.

I don't have Math Duel in GB20 so the usual applies for submission here
Received recently from Zeela's sale: Dracula (Anirog), Zipper (Scand Soft) and Submariner (Krypton Force).
It assumes the loading went far enough that you got a program into the computer. If the alignment is really bad, once you get to the cassette buffer (FOUND program) it can bail out with ?OUT OF MEMORY, which I think has to do with the buffer gets full of garbage.

oh, I'd better start saving then.....
somewhat off topic: any of you guys collect c16/plus4 tapes?
Not sure how many were released. I've got about 320.
Success! I tried a different Datasette and got Time Destroyers and Blockbuster to both load in. After all that, neither of them were very good, unfortunately... :/ but at least they work!
Mayhem, assume I'm new and slightly stupid. What do you need me to do to help you add Math Duel to gb20? I have a real Vic but don't use any emulator. I'd be willing to mail you the package for copying and scanning if you promise to send it back before we're old men.
An unused and still in the original package and plastic wrapping Commodore 1200 modem arrived today from America. I am actually reluctant to open it. I will make sure I have a number to ring (a BBS that would still work with it) before I use it.

Just Won Abductor, Quasimodo and Gunslinger for £1.04 + free postage and a Boxed Q Bert cart for £5 + 1.50 p&p which I bought as it is surprisingly NOT on Megacart or Gamebase Vic20 0.2 !
Is is a rare cart or just that it is not archived / protected?

I also just bought a copy of a game called Dodge Cars. I haven't heard of it before but I can't share a piccy as it's embedded in the page and I don't know how to save it.
