Two-prong connector and/or psu, anybody got a spare?

Post by tlr »

I'm looking for a two-prong connector (or preferably the full 220V PSU for my vic).
More specifically it is this type: http://sleepingelephant.com/denial/wiki ... 038-03.jpg

Was there ever a 240V specific version btw?
That would be much easier on the vic as the line voltage is 230V nominal (+/-10%) now. (our home is on the highish side of that)

I don't think so, my two prong UK supply has 220V on it also.

I don't think the line voltage was raised to 230V until after the VIC's commercial life so we'd be pretty safe to assume Commodore never made a 240V PSU.

On the other hand I have an Atari power supply for the UK market which is specified as 240V.

I used to have "tabs" on a 117V two-prong power supply, but it seems somebody else picked it up before I got to it. Otherwise you could've had it.
