I tried this in Adventureland, and although I can't say if pressing 'V'+return the text scrolls faster, 'P'+return (then LOOK) has this effect:

Anyone knows if this a documented feature of the Scott Adams series? What do those letters and numbers mean? :?:

Perhaps V has something to do with the voice feature, that the adventures should be possible to interface with a speech synthesizer. It may enable or disable output of sound, which would speed up the text display a bit.

I know that typing "SCREW BEAR" in Adventure Land will cause the bear to become startled and fall off a cliff :)

I believe this would have to have been something in the vic20 interpreter as I've not seen anything like this in the trs80 + ti99 versions of the datafiles.
