Gamebase for VIC-20?

Post by Disc Master I »

Hi.

I remember there being a GB for the VIC-20. Is it still around and has it been released or updated at all? I just pulled out my old C64 and VIC-20 systems and I want to get back to using them like I used to. I'd like to get a hold of GB for the VIC-20 so I could convert the game images back to disk for use on my real VIC.

"Vic 20 Drifter"
Sounds like a great title for a new tune, Carlsson ...

"He's a V-I-I-I-C 20 drifter, floating in and out of Denial -- ya! ya!"

operational definition

Post by Vic20-Ian »

What is the operational definition of real soon?

Is it measured in minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years or aeons...

Only kidding, there is a lot of pent up desire for GB20.

Will be willing to duplicate for 10 people on cd and post if needed. Those 10 can then do the same

In the end it will be as if nothing ever happened.

I think that should be written as:

right now < real soon < eternity :)

Heh... very true. Now I'm back from holiday, I'm gonna try sorting out the two VicTape Computing tapes and Whirlwind 20 (which finally made it here!) and maybe cut it off there...

I'm still in the process of figuring out where it's gonna be hosted... but it's going to be around the 200MB region.

I've seen that picture before, if I wasn't at work I'd look it up and show you the full size version. That girl gives me funny feelings. :D

My offer to host or mirror the files still stands. I've got plenty of bandwidth available on my server...
