The prices of the kits have been calculated now. These prices will be the same for the beta testers and those who'd like to order one later:
Code: Select all
[x] PCB FE512 V3 REV 9 12.90 EUR
(double layer, solder resist,
white silk screen on top, color: green)
[x] SD slot card reader (push in, push out) 2.95 EUR
[x] 3.3V voltage regulator LM1117IMP-3,3 1.25 EUR
[x] Programmed CPLD 6.00 EUR
[x] Programmed Atmel 644 6.50 EUR
[x] Other parts 14.70 EUR
-----------------------------------------------------------------
total 44.30 EUR
The price includes a complete kit with all needed parts but neither shipping nor case. No batteries included!
In Germany, it might be an option to order the "other parts" by using this link
http://www.reichelt.de/?ACTION=20;AWKID ... ROVID=2084
You might get these parts at your local dealer as well, but I strongly recommend to to get a complete kit. This assures, you'll get the right parts - e.g. the sockets must be as flat as possible (or it won't fit into a module case), Flashs must be Atmels Flashs AM29F040 only, condensor must be small and so on.
Seems as if shipping costs (priority mail, registered) within Europe will be 7.55 EUR and for outside Europe 10.60 EUR, but I'll have to check this again later.
If you live inside EU, I'd prefer wire transfer for payment, but you can pay per PayPal as well at your own choice.
The PCBs should arrive at the end of this week. Most parts for the kits have arrived by now, but I'm still waiting for the CPLDs...
First I'll build one prototype and check it. If I can't discover anything that's wrong, I'll start to ship those who have already paid.
If my tests end up in need of something to be fixed (I don't expect this), I'll fix it before shipping.
I expect to start shipping in approx two weeks.
After confirmation of shipping costs, I'll send those who were interested in beta-testing an order-form to be filled out and sent back via e-mail.
If you should be no longer interested to beta-test it (for what reason ever), that's no problem. Just leave a note and we'll look out for someone else.
Next time I'll post some photos...
If you have any question, please feel free to ask!
Best regards,
Nils
