re-discovered Games (gamebase, megacart or other)

Post by TarkaTOtter »

I just found "Nibblers two" in gamebase

A very simple game that over the past year I ended up thinking I had dreamed about - I kept searching but could not remember the games name.
I am sure I had typed it in or maybe got it on a tape somewhere.

But I could not find any hint of a game that looked like it so in the end I gave up thinking I must have mis-remembered it or dreamt it up one night.

But then I found it in Gamebase V2 in the Extra\d64 section!!!

Loads of thanks for creating GameBase "Mayhem"?

I never had a disk drive! Anyway the game loader is in Dutch or German
and you have to autorun the disk image then load"nibblers .2",8 it runs fine after this - "no language" is used so I can play it OK

The aim is to protect the lemons in a tower from nibblers that come from left and right to destroy the brick tower. Under Vice the keys are top left key"¬" to shoot left and "F1" to shoot right.

Anyone know where/how the English version was released?

Anyone else found a forgotten game in Gamebase or MegaCart or elsewhere?

Sjakie started GB20 and I've continued the work. A lot further I must admit and it's taken quite a while to get there... anyhow N2 has been "modified" so that the second part now auto loads. I've tried to make all games have as little user interaction as possible to assist people who might not be au fait with all the command line stuff...

Hey but where did you find the Gamebase V2 ?
Mega-Cart: the cartridge you plug in once and for all.

Tarka, the Gamebase Vic20 you have is V1.01, Mayhem are working in the V2, but at the moment isn't still finish.
The Gamebase database is independent of the Vic 20's datas. The first program is the version 2, but the datas for the vic 10 are the version 1.01

ah ok, as formater said this is the v1.01 of the gamebase20 hosted by 6502dude.

We all are waiting the Mayhem's V2 version so I thought that I missed something
