smoothing a vic20 display on LCD TV

Hi
If I cannot get a s-video hack done to my Vic (Pal)
is there any way to smooth the display on an LCD screen?

maybe like blurring the edges with a Very simple bit of electronics "in line" before it gets to the composite port or RF port?

I do not want to butcher my Vic but a PCB with composite in and out
would be easier for me (it would have to be very simple a couple of capacitors or discrete components)
