INPUT Magazine [ITA], Italian pirated games

I recently came across some VIC cassette tapes in Ebay. Three of them were issues of a rather oscure Italian magazine called "Input". Some of the games are original works, mostly BASIC and very simple; the best ones in the collections are pirate copies of English titles, with text translated to Italian.

I've made three tap files of them, and one single disk for all the three issues. I suggest to try the taps for multi-load games (and us warp ALT+W in VICE). Download them zipped HERE.

BTW, I'm sure it's a pirated game, but I've never seen it before: can you tell me what's this? (Uccelli Spaziali in the cassette)

Looking games on taps, i've found "il suicida" (the suicidal)

It is the translation of "City Crusher", my favorite vic game after Trout/Salmon Run !!!

I remember "Missione UFO" (UFO Mission) for it but "Il Suicida" is too much !!!

Perhaps you're right; those Italian titles maybe were given by people from the porn industry, used to giving dull things colourful names.

Any hint about the original tiltle?

It's Cosmic Commando by Anirog (later re-released by Omega as Space Pirate). Didn't need to go look that one up

It's a real good game!! I remember that I had a pirate version published probably on a Program or Playgames magazine...well done
