Interview?

Post by dracosilv »

Well, I came, I saw and I built.

Anyone care to know what I built?

/Someone/ at a major Commodore event was impressed about a A specific cart that I made. ;) Does that Someone want an interview? :D

Sincerely,

Yeah. It was an EEPROM 'programmer'

I say 'programmer' in quotes because it does program the EEPROM, but it only works with 5v programming voltage EEPROMs.

edit:

jbuonacc, there were two vic carts... Dragos had one himself (he was to my left). I was teh one in the tye-dye.

Look at the photos from ECCC. You'll find several of it.
In the end it will be as if nothing ever happened.

That other cart (the one on the yellow pcb) isn't my project. I looked through all the galleries, and I saw pics of me, but none of my project.

I think I'm creating confusion. My apologies. This is NOT the board we're talking about:

I believe that was the prototype of the Ultimate Expander that was sold to Dragos.

Excellent. That'll sort this out.

It is a hand made version of the Ultimate Expander but I am not so sure it qualifies as THE prototype as it is not the very first one.

The very first Ultimate Expander was built in 2003 and, at the time, had no designation as I thought nobody else could ever want one.

...what a mistake!

P.S.: This reminds me of the head of a large software company that said 640k of RAM oughta be enough for everyone.

I wonder, who would have made such an absurd statement? It certainly wasn't Bill Gates:
