Hi,
today i load (at work, in the office) an NEC-PC Engine emulator with a lot of rom's.
And one is called 15 game collection or so. An i wonder to see that this are 15 games from our VIC-20, shamus, choplifter, Raqdar-ratrace usw.
It was wery funny, and i ask me what is this. It's an VIC emulator, or rewriten games.
cheers

Is it by chance this ROM?

All the titles look VIC-20, but just like the Omega Race game Jeff found for Genesis, I would believe they were reprogrammed. Of course, when remaking 15 different games, it may be effective to make a limited kind of emulator or common set of routines instead of doing everyone by hand.
No matter which, the programmer forgot the pixel ratio on the VIC, so the screen shots look more arcade-ish that usual...

How about a PC Engine emulator like HU-GO, XPCE or Magic Engine?

"image" in this context means a (perfect) file representation of a media like a cartridge or diskette, not a picture to display.
