Pictures of a friend's 10-year old playing VIC-20 games

Post by Schema »

As mentioned previously, I had a party at my house a couple of weeks ago, and my friend's 10-year old son got bored and asked if there were computer games. So I showed him how to use the VIC-20 and he had a blast! (pun intended). I snapped a couple of digital pictures that I've just transferred to my PC.

That was just like me 17 years ago! :D The same for many of you, I'm sure!

You can also see my VIC setup - normally the VIC is in the stereo cabinet under the VCR.

i saw that picture of you Anders, quite a while ago, and for the longest time thought that was a recent picture of you!

i didn't clue in that you were older, until about the time i sent you the omega race cart.

i sent it to you because i felt so sorry for a kid getting ripped off :)

Lucky me then! ;) But I don't think many Swedes at the age of 13 or 14 can write english this good... (I think we started to learn English in school at the age of 11). Maybe I still cant write very good if it looks like a kid has written it... :D

(wipes a tear from the eye)

Ahh.... people playing VIC games... Now I am considering a "Post a pic of yourself" thread; I'll have to dig around for a pic first.

Yay, Boray's picture almost looks like that famous VIC-20 advertisment:

It is only a glass of milk missing.

Passed out girl or a smurf.. I dunno which is to prefer.

Oh by the way, I was bored, so I had to do the worst "Photoshop" job of the year (actually I didn't even use Photoshop, but a free/shareware graphics program called Serif PhotoPlus)

How nice!

Chris, Poster size? Wouldn't that be expensive for you?

Eh, are you speaking about the shitty picture posted above? I'm sure you could redo it much more nicely and maybe even add the joystick if you are considering to print it as a poster.
