I was bidding on it earlier, then saw Lief (Schema) with the high bid up until 1 minute from the end. Then another buyer got it at $46. Was it you, Mayhem?

I was tempted to go higher, but just couldn't justify it for a metal box. It wasn't a full 1020, just the case and some other cartridge slot expander. Mind you, the expanders themselves can go pretty high too :wink:

Yes, same with me. As much as I've always wanted a 1020, this one was just a metal box with a third party slot expander thrown in. Still, I was sorely tempted. If I handn't spent so much on Commodore stuff recently, I probably would have made a high bid. I'm surprised more of these 1020s don't show up in Toronto, as that was where C- had its file cabinet making branch (they did the original folded metal PET cases too).

It would've been even more unusual if the bidder was mayhemsniper or something like that.
