Does anybody have the manual and a working tap for the VIC-20 Games Designer by Richard and David Darling?
I have tried the tap found on Armas site, but can't get the "main gamebase" program to run even when I follow the instructions included in the zip file.
Also I can't find the manual anywhere on the internet.

load game data with load"yourgamename",1,1 then load the main game program to run it.

Yes, I have tried that, but got an "out of memory" error or sometimes the main game program doesn't load at all.
So, I guess there's something wrong with the tap file on Armas site. I have only tried the tap file in VICE and on THEVIC20, not on a real VIC-20.

The program code needs load"gamename",1,1 then rewind the tape and you must use Shift Run/Stop for loading the Main Game Base

Some form of copy protection if you load"" giving a Load Error

I recall having to perform a few shenanigans to get the included demo games in this package into GB20 heh
