Thank you for time and effort to share a new Vic20 game in 2023!!! keep them coming.......nice scrolling graphics and sound..

Thanks for the feedback! The bike animation took some doing, it was my first time using "half-character" animation (4 pixels at a time). I could make the animation smoother with finer movement, but I'm not sure it would provide much benefit for needing a bunch more character definitions.

I enjoyed writing this game for the VIC and look forward to doing more. My goal is to port this game to all the Commodore 8-bits; the first version of Light Cycles was for the PET. VIC Light Cycles is based on that source code, with improvements for graphics and sound. Now that VIC Light Cycles is done, I'm working on the C64 version. After that I'll do a C16/Plus4 version before starting the next project.
