Hi!

I'm new to both the forum and the VIC-20 scene and this is my first post :D
I tried to do something useful and recreated the OEM joystick adapter, as I couldn't find schematics or at least a photo of it.
It is not a complicated device, it only contains wires (and a breadboard) between the connectors, no active electronics are required.
It doesn't look too promising but it works flawlessly. Tried with all four known carts that support it (Amazing Maze, Close Encounters..., Space Ric-o-shay & Tank Wars).

I remember an article, either in Compute or Compute's Gazette, that explained how to build the connector. I built one back in the day.
