Just purchased this one... does anyone have information about it? What is it used for?

I bought it, but it is still on the way to me. Thanks for the link, so it extends Basic by some statistical/mathematical functions.

Is this cartrdige rare? I did not come across one before.

It's considered to be quite rare, indeed. Some 20 years ago, it was in Ward Shrake's list of "vaporware".

Edit: the same list in its 2002 incarnation also put it in the "carts which MIGHT exist" section.

Necro-bumping this one, because another VIC Stat cartridge showed up in the Bay, apparently sealed but without a front cover (?). Italian seller, ships worldwide. From the item description:

One copy was found in Sweden years ago and dumped but never put on sale.

Ehr... Nope .

There has been one for sale on a Dutch web site for Euro 500 for over a year. I don't remember the name of the site, but I have a link to it somewhere

Handic VIC Stat and also Handic VIC Graf were actually not that rare back in the days. At least in Sweden and Finland. After all they were made in Sweden. I remember seeing droves of these for sale for the equivivalent of 6 USD in a computer shop clearance as late as 1989. I really should have bought some of these.
