Magnificent 7 collection on disk - plus other goodies

Post by oracle_jedi »

Attached is a D64 disk image with the Audiogenic collection Magnificent 7.

This collection of 7 BASIC games was the first commercial cassette I bought for my VIC back in late 82 or maybe early 83.

The games were all written by Trevor Pitts, and are all BASIC. Two of the games require a 3K expansion, and I remember as a kid reading the inlay card for the two games I could not play, as I didn't have a RAM expansion.

The games are very very simple. But for me they bring back fond memories of playing simple games on my school's Commodore PET back in 81/82.

Since Magnificent 7 didn't seem enough to justify a whole disk I added the Audiogenic compilation Seawolf, Victrap and Bounce Out. These were written by Creative Software and are much better than the games on Magnificent 7 but still simple, using PETSCII graphics. Seawolf in particular is quite impressive.

I also added Code Maker/Code Breaker - another Audiogenic combo tape. And finally Wall St, which was also an Audiogenic release in the UK.
