Would be interesting to have seen such a modified vic for the intended purpose
Valid rule today as earlier: 1 Byte = 8 Bits
-._/classes instead of masses\_.-

I am pretty sure I remember seeing one of these being sold on EBay in the last 12-18 months.

Well, it's 8-Bit Guy, so you'll get the cleaning video first. I'm sure if he finds more information he will make a video.

We discussed this on Denial about 15 years ago (the hardware, not the 8-bit guy obviously)! There's an old article about this somwhere online. Nice to see someone has found an actual model to show on YouTube.

I think this basically lays down SMPTE stripes on tape and syncs everything to it through MIDI or DIN-SYNC or CV-gate or DCB....or some proprietary protocol.
