Why don't you consider buying a new one? Good guys all over the world are building sturdy, switched, stable and affordable ones - and they aren't too expensive either. Some examples follow.

This is certainly of interest to me, so thank you Orion70.
I suppose the ones for C64 and VIC20CR combined must be based on the C64 original, or there would be dead C64s appearing!
