Thanks!
I made <fire> jump and <up> fire because you do a lot more jumping than firing, and precision jumping is tricky with <up>.

I don't have any specific POKES, but the source code is here:

Unfortunately it needs to be pucrunched to work - so depending on how you do POKES, it could be tricky.

So I just had a go with this game and about an hour later I managed to crack it, but boy are my fingers aching.

Just one thing (highlight below to see spoiler)

Is there supposed to be No Ending, you just shoot the cpu and it disappears then you are stuck in the room?

Hmm, I thought it reset to the title screen, but I could be wrong.
It's been a while. :)

Well I was playing it in vice rather than a real Vic, with the keyboard.

Maybe I destroyed the CPU blocks in the wrong order.

Beat this game again this time on the real thing with a zip stick.

Decided to do a cover for it, not as good as the doom one as I had to do the artwork myself.

Saw the 9.99 range on the Future is 8-bit

So since I had all the parts I remixed it into a cartridge cover

If you think about releasing it on cartridge, though the game may be a bit small for that I guess.

Unless an intro, a boss battle and ending are added :)

Back in the day I would TOTALLY have bought that tape based on the art and screenshots!
High Scores, Links, and Jeff's Basic Games page.
