Naked C64 cartridges

Post by ViperSan »

So whilst waiting to get my PET repaired I thought I'd sort through some other Commodore bits n pieces ..and came accross these 2 naked cartridge pcbs ..
I guess I'd like to populate them again ..but aside from the logic chips I need the code Roms or Eproms ..
The one on the left is obviously a Final cartridge III ...and I've been busy fitting Chip bases as you can see ..
I now need binary dumps of the 2 Eprom Chips ..
If these can be obtained I'm sure I can rebuild it ..

Now ..the one on the right (no chip bases fitted as yet ) ...but what is it ?
anyone recognise it ?
Whatever it is I would need a binary dump of that device too ?
If anyone knows a good source for such cartridge rom dumps ..please help me with this puzzle..

Wow! Lots of interesting stuff there. I wish I had such a huge collection of rare pieces.

I believe this ROM image for the FCIII can be split for the two ROM version you have. I haven't tried it, but it couldn't hurt to try it. Please let us know if it does or doesn't work if you do try it.
