Nice find!

I see Amiga 2000 and 3000 cases and parts so I assume these are early 90s.

I was reading some old issues of the TPUG newsletter and they mentioned this URL.

Apparently the pictures were taken by a company taking over the premises after Commodore's demise.

I wonder what they assembled in Hong Kong? I think the VIC was just made in Japan, US, Canada, West Germany, wasn't it?

Still, they look kind of "amateurish", desks with testers and everything in a messy fashion... Surprising for the late Commodore!

Doesn't look amateurish at all to me!

I see a robotized though-hole populating machine followed by a large assembly line probably for checking specific points or adding larger parts on the boards.

The plant seems empty of its employees, however. So these photos were probably taken off normal hours.

That's sad. It explains a bunch of things, I suppose.

If the photos were taken by people from a new business moving in then it suggests Commodore's production and testing equipment was simply abandoned there. That sucks!
