Just backed now, I was number 58. Hopefully fully pledged quickly this time. Maybe you need to think of 'stretch rewards' too?

As before, if you figure you need any help somewhere (any items, proof-reading etc), then let me know :)

Thanks for backing!
I have received a quote on Friday (I know... always at the last minute but hey - I'm Italian) but I am not satisfied with it and I have to discuss it with the printing house. On hold for a few days.

Thanks Mayhem, I will take your offer of proof reading the draft of the book. Sometimes when you read your own text it's easy to miss something obvious.

Excellent news. Will there be any stretch goals or other perks?

Hi all, thanks for backing!

I've just added a few stretch goals to the campaign, starting from a thicker paper for the book and some UV varnish on the cover, then a nice VIC bookmark, a sticker that I'm still working on, and a few posters.

As always, comments are welcome.

Got to say - the graphic design in this book is absolutely beatiful (love the cover).

I've never backed a kickstarter before but will contribute to this one.

Just one caveat: is the text finished yet? On a page of the book revealed on the kickstarter site, the text reads that the extra holes for the PET number pad were covered on the early VIC-20 keyboards with "duct tape". I don't think this is accurate. They were covered with black electrical tape. I realize that's a nit-pick but there is a difference.

Thanks, it's amazing what a cover can do ;-)

Thanks for pointing that out, I will correct that. It's not ignorance about the VIC (I actually own it and took the picture), I just thought that duct tape could be used as a synonym for electrical tape. Now I got the difference :-)

That's okay, your knowledge of English is far better than my knowledge of Italian, which is unfortunate for me as I am actually of Northern Italian ancestry.

I did submit my backing yesterday evening.
