Older browsers do not support png-images. Did you test GIF transparency?

WOW... WhatTheFont is a great web, I was using just the thing between the ears to find matching fonts... This will ease a lot my little secret FrankenVIC-20 project...

I don't use phpBB anymore, I've switched to Simple Machines long ago, so I don't remember exactly, but I'm sure any modern version of the forum software of choice can deal with PNG's.

I didn't test GIF transparency, since I have no control of the forum.
Jeff, in case you didn't notice, I added some proper size images in the last post on the previous page.

... and why can't the "i" in Denial go dotted-less?

Ok, I updated. Looks better, but I agree with rhurst. The I may be a bit more clear without the dot.

Did you have to use the GIF then?
(So I know what to give you next time.)

Thanks again. I used the intended GIF format. I didn't want to poke around in the actual code, so I'm just swapping the image files. This last one seems more readable to me, but there may be a bit of an edge on the VIC part. Can anyone see it?

I know how to fix it - the gif conversion didn't use the gray gradient as the background colour under the semitransparent parts of the image, so I'll need to stencil it myself.
I'll probably get to it tomorrow morning.

[EDIT] Updated the image in the previous post.

Hi Kweepa

Can You perhaps do this in 149x52 pixel to for the new top logo?
Kind regards, Peter.

Commodore on older computers (before the Amiga) used Eurostile so Eurostile condensed bold would make sense.

One of my eBay VIC20s has no badge. I will get one printed, no issue.

With Eurostile® Std Condensed Bold I can see VC20 doesn't match (but is similar), but feel "commodore" does not match at all.

Microgramma D Extended Bold matches better?

I know of 2 different VIC-20 logos.

The one on the computer itself, I use Eurostile extended bold to replicate.

But there is another one Commodore printed on the VICMODEM, Programmer's Aid and Sargon II manuals.

Thanks, both the V & C are not perfect. But good enough, so here as SVG for anyone wanting to use it.
