Ant Eater (Romox)

Post by Mayhem »

With thanks to Mr Moody for pointing me in the direction of the seller, I've been able to secure a copy of this elusive Romox title for the Vic20. It has been dumped and I can run it from my Vic20. All I need is to get the bloody thing onto my PC and inserted into GB20... and then perhaps all of you can play it too ;)

Well, it's not Wizard of Wor, but we'll give it a try... Just joking, of course :)
That's great news - the only hint of its existence was this ad:

...until now. THANK YOU Mayhem, can't wait to play it!

This seller had multiple copies of several Romox titles in sealed condition. I missed the first few he had listed, but I messaged him and he told me he had more. I told him I was interested in purchasing a few of the titles he had, but I never heard back from him.

The CIB copy of Ant Eater I purchased was the last one he had, so he said.

These are Vic20 games, not C64... Lemon64 is just for C64 :?

Did anyone else test the dump on Vice ?

I would have tested it in Vice when adding it to GB20, so something amiss with your setup perhaps.

Unless my memory is going. I'll have to check it out sometime this week...
