Yeah, I know. Not helped by a few things happening in real life, AND the company I work for being bought up, so it's been stupidly busy.

But in light of the other post I've just made, then the delay may see you able to play a rumour mill title very shortly ;)

Hi Mayhem,
You already have "Christian Bohn" as autor of "Max" & "Punch".
He also wrote the game "Earth Defense" for Commodore 1982.

When I'm not stupidly busy heh :P

Seriously, I will hopefully package a re-edited version soon. Maybe in time for Xmas? It's got extra games in there that weren't there before including Chicken Challenge, a rare Micro Antics title.

Of course, I would be happy to host if that's helpful in any way.

Hi Ray

My Internet connection is relative fast 320 Mb.

I guess Jeff will put the GB20 online too - it will help to raise the speed on the other side of the planet.
Kind regards, Peter.

I'm having a hard time getting this to work.
I've set up everything according to the INSTALL.TXT file and when I click Tools/Verify Available Files... and check Games, Pictures and Extras boxes I get:

Games not found: 0/1508
Pictures not found: 0/2047
Extras not found: 0/2343

But there are lots of games that have the 'Play Game' button greyed out, and others that just won't load, for instance, "3D Maze" starts WinVice (xvic.exe) and shows

Code: Select all

load"3D MAZE?1.PRG",8,1:
searching for 3D MAZE?1.prg
?file not found
 error
I'm using Windows7 32bit with the latest nightly build of WinVice.
Any idea what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks
Ray..

Thanks Mat, really superb job with the archive - and so much new stuff to check out! Having a lot of fun going through all the different authors and discovering stuff I didn't know they had done! :)
