3D-Cover Animation : Tape-Scans needed

Post by Vicman *1970 »

Hi all,

after creating an Image-Pack for the Frontend eCC , i now creating 3D-Cover-Animations for ecc2.
eCC2 (EmuControlCenter) is a Multi-Frontend in early Developement-Status.

For this Project i need Tape-Scans ! (not the Tape-Inlays....pictures from the Tapes itself...)

@bokvamme :
you told me (in 2009) , that you want to start a big project, and scan all your games/boxes/covers/tapes etc...
Did you allready started with this ? or maybe finished 8)

@all :
if you have tape-scans, please help me out here and share them with me :D

I've made a short videoclip on YouTube.
Here you can see, for what i need the Scans..
(look at 00:47 "Animal Magic" , this 3D-Cover has also the Tape-Picture)

please look here :

Hi,

I've not scanned any cassette tapes yet.

Some information you may not be aware of:

Many tape games came in several releases (this you probably know).
Many tape games had several production runs (different coloured tapes for the same release).

Can you share the inlays/boxes with me ? :oops:
'cause at the moment i use the pics from "Armas Archive", and these scans has a low resolution.....something like 500 x 500 pixel....
I think your new scans will have a higher resolution ?
This would be better for creating the 3D-Covers 8)

I didn't know this. Thanks for the Info.

btw.
I use a registered version of the program 'Imandix Cover Pro v0.9.3' for creating the 3D-Covers.
With this tool you can save the Covers as "interactive website" and then
you can add them on a Homepage.....(think so...)
Maybe you can use/add the 3D-Covers here on Denial 8)

Just download the 'Animal Magic' - example here and start the 'test.htm' :

Our scans are in either 300dpi or 600dpi (png)
Our photos are at least 3mpixel.

As the scans and photos are done by several people I can not give you an answer to your question yet. I will have to ask those people for permission.
