Yeah, and all the other 24 original boxed games included were free!!??JagMod wrote:Dot Gobbler went for $260!
You could say it only cost $10.40, as did all the other games.

Exactly. I was the one who bid $255 and lost the auction (which I expected to win easily). I wanted all the boxed games, not just Dot Gobbler, so when you break it down piece by piece it's not much money at all for an instant collection. Nearly all the games are complete, no crushed boxes, etc.e5frog wrote:Yeah, and all the other 24 original boxed games included were free!!??JagMod wrote:Dot Gobbler went for $260!

This is why I hate sellers who sell stuff in these huge lots. I suspect whoever won this probably only wanted the Dot Gobbler cartridge (although I don't know for sure). Pain in the arse.
Dot Gobbler is a $50 cartridge in my mind, although Mayhem knows far more about these things than I, so I'll defer to him.

I'm sure the seller would have made more selling one at a time.
$10 a game wasn't bad for the winner, but to the right buyers, those mint atari games in the box are worth more than $10.
I didn't recognize the seller, I wonder if its one of those middle men where people just drop a box of junk off to them and they take a 40% cut.
