We are now at 151 vic-20 tape releases.
As you can see, it's slow going..
We very much welcome any help with scanning inlays and taking photos of the releases.

Nice going. Unfortunately the inlay scans are cropped to just the front, otherwise I'd ask to use them for GB20 (I use the entire side, including the spine and back).
"The Catch" is the same game for Rabbit and Bubble Bus btw; Nufekop licensed a number of games for release in the UK and sometimes with both companies.

Lie with passion and be forever damned...
The first link seems to be dead. I tried the Denial Wiki Link, and that seems to be for Carts only, of which I only have 3K Ram, 16K Ram (Both Commodore), Omega Race, Avenger, and Sargon II Chess. So nothing to get very excited about in the rarity stakes.
I don't suppose I have any rare tapes either, but I have some that I'd never heard of in the 80s.

I've found another resource at http://www.digitpress.com/the_digs/vic20/filedown.htm, which includes Cartzilla from '98 and the Cartridge Rarity & Gameplay List (2002), both by Ward Shrake. Furthermore also some info about tape games.16KVIC20 wrote:The first link seems to be dead.
All scans are done in 300 or 600 dpi (png) of the entire side.Mayhem wrote:Nice going. Unfortunately the inlay scans are cropped to just the front, otherwise I'd ask to use them for GB20 (I use the entire side, including the spine and back).
We've simply not uploaded the big files (YET).

Yes, there are some of those...Mayhem wrote:"The Catch" is the same game for Rabbit and Bubble Bus btw; Nufekop licensed a number of games for release in the UK and sometimes with both companies.
We will fix that later. We want all releases of a game to point to one game entry.

We are now at 165 game/release entries. Mostly tapes for now..

I think the wiki would be a great place to keep this info organized. Everyone can add to it and make corrections. There can also be links to individual companies and designers.

There are now 188 Vic20 title active on retrocollector.org, but 456 in total "behind the scenes" as soon as we can add scan and/or content scan/photo.
I have soon scanned all my Vic20 games although I havent started on my cartridges yet.
If you got a nice Vic20 collection and want to contribute, please consider joining our team. But if you only want to submit your own scans that is ok too. If you create an account we will credit your user for each we add for you. But please be aware we might have the scan already so send us lists before to check which we need.
