Image requests for the next Gamebase20

Post by Mayhem »

Image requests? What's this you may be wondering. Well, I'd like to spruce up the presentation a little for the next release (long into the future it may be) but might as well get people throwing ideas at it now heh...

STARTUP ICON - 32 x 32 GIF
This is the icon that you click on to choose GB20 from the initial window if you have more than one Gamebase database available to the frontend. Currently it is just the Commodore symbol, but I'd like something a bit more snazzy.

ABOUT SCREEN - 120 x 200 GIF
This is the picture you see if you choose Help -> About in Gamebase and select the Gamebase tab on the window. Currently it's Shatner promoting the computer, but something nicer looking and still Vic20 relevant would be good to replace this.

SPLASH SCREENS
These are the shots displayed when the Gamebase is loading. The only one I have so far is that shot of the Vic20 with the words "Gamebase Vic20" overlaid. Anyone up for creating some custom images to use there?

Size can be anything, but generally should be within 400 pixels square. Format can be GIF or JPG. GB64 has a bunch of altered loading screens with the words "Gamebase64" imposed in the same style on them. Could something similar be done here using "Gamebase20" instead?

I might "nybble" on your challenge, but you've been warned! :P

Also, I upgraded my FiOS to 35mbs upload/download speeds and will be happy to continue to host/mirror your next GB20 release (even pre-releases)
