There are other (free) ftp clients for windows, if Explorer is the problem. What is the filename? It could contain characters that a Unix system doesn't like (assuming zimmers.net runs on a Unix server).

The instructions for Waterloo Basic are now supposedly in the hands of Bo Zimmerman.

We used Waterloo Structured BASIC on the PET when I was in school and I'm really looking forward to this trip down memory lane.
In the end it will be as if nothing ever happened.
