That's some really whacked-out cover art. I wonder what influence the designers might have been under...?

I have got Coco 2 for the Vic.
I will investigate.
My box is different, but includes a tape, a disk and a dongle + a manual.
There is a sample game included with the programming language.

Kaboom! I just woke up!

Yes, Coco2 is the only software I have ever had (I have ever SEEN) for the VIC-20 that has a dongle.
Be normal.

I am not sure where to put this comment but here goes:

concerning the tape preservation project "VIC20Tapes(.)org", more specifically the Canadian Tire game pack, I remember that only one of the games actually has a title screen that briefly shows an actual date/year, then dissapears, I am pretty sure I saw "1981". Currently, the year is labelled as NA in the games list.

Has anyone dumped COCO and Reverse engineered the dongle?

Is it a serial port or user port dongle?

I would be interested in a comparison with The Games Designer (Kanga, Zyon, Krazy Maze)

Fixed.
Then again, we can't be sure that was the year it was released.

bokvamme :

more news on the Canadian Tire Games pack, see the following site:

http://www.rfgeneration.com/cgi-bin/get ... -S-01770-F

They list it as year 1982, but I have no idea from where they took that.
