There are some new listings on Ebay for several of these educational books...don't know if there's any you are interested in or not. Ebay member: gezeilstra (not my auction).

Hmmm....the obvious assumption would that there would be and English CES-120 (minus the F), but of course, knowing the way Commodore worked, that may not have been the case.

A picture of the collection

A close observation reveals that 3 of them are still new and sealed.

Oooh. Nice colours. I have the Intro to BASIC, 1 & 2, but both came in standard silver boxes the size of the Gortek box.

Another one that would look good there is the third-party 20 game cassette pack (can't remember the manufacturer now) that came in an orange binder. DigitalQuirk got it in his 1982 Christmas video on Youtube.

Duh, yes, I see it now. Cymbal software....of course! Looks like you have may have TWO of their binders (I didn't know they had a trivia pack).

Isn't Cymbal a Canadian company? If so, the binder as software pack seems to be a distinctly Canadian type of software packaging.

Commodore sold the Intro to Basic and the Recreation Pack in boxes in other countries, I think (same with their localized education packs in the UK and Europe).

If you ever come across another one of these, be sure to pick it up for me and I'll owe you one...;)

Great.

Does anyone know what subject of the missing VT-107 would have been? As I said I have Home Calculation Pack, VT-107-E...I wonder if that is the same thing. Eslapion did you get an archive of VT-107-E?

We just received a WHOLE bunch of these tape packs - including some ones from Cymbal I had never seen before.

I will go through them and see what we have now.

We did a small write up on Cymbal for those interested:
