I played the "It Came From the Grave" demo on the website. Lots of fun!

I played It Came From The Grave last year's Halloween. I have not compared them side by side, but from memory this new version looks graphically much richer. Mind you, it was already a very stylish and good looking game before.

The title screen looks great and the two different Game Over screens are gorgeous!

Gameplay-wise it's about the same as before, I guess. My best score after a couple of tries is 12 pts.

Love It Came From The Grave!

Contrary to hasseapa, I find this version of IT CAME FROM THE GRAVE harder than version I played last fall. I only managed 8 pts after many attempts. But the increased difficulty (imaginary or not...) makes for an even more entertaing game as I found it a little too easy before

I definitely like the improved graphics The larger pumpkins and bats seem more expressive, and the crescent moon looks a little better than the full moon – all in all the game has an exceptionally appealing design, much nicer looking than the 3.5 K commercial games I could buy on tape in Sweden back in the 80s! The striking titlescreen and game over screens with Dracula and the Frankenstein Monster are brilliant too and the kind of extra touch that I sorely missed in those old 3.5 K games.

The tombstones is a great addition as they both help and hinder: they assist memorization but also restricts movements. Visually, they add atmosphere of course, but also make for a more "deluxe" feel to an already very polished game.

While not as visually pleasing as IT CAME FROM THE GRAVE, Haunt plays very well (btw, R'zo's brilliant Exit Plan Z feels a little like an expanded hybrid of these two games). Before I read the instructions I was totally lost, but after reading them I found it a straightforward and clever concept! Pretty hard, though, I have only managed to reach night 6 so far.
