Super VIC20 motherboard! (PAL) MOBO

Post by MCes »

I'm selling a modifyed (PAL) motherboard that has ceramic EPROMs and a selectable resident RAM expansion!
Cartridge autostart will be ignored at startup pressing a key and the fire button on joystick.

With a switch is possible chose three different configuration:
1) default: a normal VIC20
2) +3K RAM (like a VIC-1210), +8K RAM in BLK5 (useful for load on it a cartridge image)
3) +16K RAM (like a VIC-1111)

But.... the VIC20 cartridge slot is free!

Remember that the VIC20 organize the "basic", "color" and "screen" memory areas depending on the RAM recognized at startup:
through the switch position you can chose one of ALL possible memory organization! (read the link)
http://www.classiccmp.org/cini/pdf/Comm ... Memory.pdf

The switch is soldered on motherboard (no holes on your VIC20!) and is selectable through the slot of Datassette connector with a screwdriver/pen/toothpick/paper clips.....

I have 2 motherboards: If you have a VIC chip MOS6561 I can send the motherboard without VIC CHIP at price of 30€ + sending cost (+ PP fees), otherwise I can send the other one (with VIC CHIP) at price of 40€ + sending cost (+ PP fees).

I prefer declare in advance that if postal service lose the tracked pack then I'll can refund only 30€.

Now I have to modify the motherboard,
I do this during free-time so I need of (undetermined number of) days for this....
When it will be ready then we'll proceed with selling, is it ok?

Eslaption,
you are the next....
