Hello!
I'd like to get the faulty 1571. How much to ship to Italy?
Thank you very much.

Alright, TSM.

I will get you a price as well. Dragos is waiting on me too. Just bear with me and I will get you the rate as soon as I can.

Joshuadenmark: Your package is now in the hands of the German Postal Service. Let me know once you get your package safely.

Wow! That was fast.

I hope you enjoy it.

Dragos: I have not forgotten you. One issue, however: I packed your box full of goodies, but there is actually no room for the cassette unit. Do you already have a cassette unit of your own, or do you still really want the one I have? I can attach a separate small box to the large one and send it off as one large parcel, but it will undoubtedly cost more.

That said, I am not going to Indian-give this. The cassette drive is still yours for the asking.

Hello Pitcalco, may I ask you another favor? Before packaging, could you please insert a scrap disk in the drive, turn the lever and block it with adhesive tape? Thank you!

Tsm: smart thinking. I will see what I can do.

Dragos: alright then. No extra datasette.

Both of you: I will finally get my act together this weekend, pack them up and get a price for you both.

At last! Shipping prices:

Dragos: To send your C128 will cost 49.99 euros (or equivalent in dollars, pounds, yen, wampam, dogs teeth or whatever works for you and can be sent by PayPal.) Just let me know if you still want it. PM me with your postal address details. I will then give you my PayPal account name.

Tsm: Your 1541 will cost 16.99 to send to Italy. PM me with your address details and I will give you my PayPal account number.

Talk to you both soon!

:( I just gave that away to Joshuadenmark, Eslapion.

I will have an NTSC version to give away a bit later, but I am afraid I am PALed out.

 It won't boot up???!

I was very careful to check everything. The only thing not working so far was the 1571, which I explained to tsm.

Do you have any way of fixing the VIC? This is embarrassing as hell. All those neat things I sent to you and you can't even use them?

Please let me know right away if and when you get the thing running!

P.

(In the worst case, I will send you my own VIC at my own expense. Heartbreaking yes, but a deal is a deal).

Hi Paul

This wasn't ment as a complain at all, I am very satisfied with the stuff even with the Vic out of order and I am still happy with this great deal.

I will let you know as soon as I get it started. So far I've tried a new Vic chip with no luck. But I will pull out my oscilloscope and do some electronic detective work 8)
Kind regards, Peter.
