Never mind, the cost of postage and duty would probably not be economically viable.

Well, it seems I misjudged interest. This project is on hold until I can find enough people who want one.

Thanks for looking :)

Your URL doesn't work for me, I needed to switch to http://

Perhaps people didn't realise what you're offering, you're looking to build a new IEEE-488 cart, right?

I see I did type https, my bad, anyway, yes the title gives it away. Its done, just not sent to the boardhouse. Even had an nice label (thanks ral-clan) and was to be printed on metal just like the original.

Anyway, someday, all I have to do is order the boards...

What sort of ballpark price would it be? Does it have a Centronics connector or a 12 way edge connector like the original?

Well, I decided to try a kickstarter, but they want to see a working prototype. So I have ordered a small batch to show they work. I'll likely have a few leftover, I am not sure on price yet, I have to total up my parts and PCB costs, but I suspect $50. These will be very limited and a different color than production (provided production happens)

I should have something to show in about 2 weeks.

They look really nice PCBs. How much would you charge for one including shipping to the UK?

I'll have to check on the shipping, I'll try and find the best rate.

As for the cart, I only have 7 available and 5 are spoken for. Once we verify these work as expected (no reason they shouldn't) I'll do another, larger run.

So if you want a proto (provided they test as working) its $50 plus shipping. Please note this does not include the metal label. The cost was prohibitive on a small run. I have to do at least $100 to get it in the ball park of reasonable prices. That said, I am working on a quality glossy label from the excellent design Ral-Clan did, and can provide you with one once they are printed!
