Ten dollars for a single key? Get out of town!

I wonder if anyone is buying these. On the other hand, how much do you need to pay for a new key on a newer computer when the letter has simply worn off? I have seen 4.99 each, and that is just for the pad with a fresh letter painted on. No spring or assembly etc.

Well, there are sometimes cheap Commodore-computers on Ebay with JUST ONE KEY missing that go for way less, because they are not complete. In that case paying 10 bucks to another seller to complete a broken keyboard is completely sensible. Complete keyboards are more than $10 as well, so in effect if the spare costs less than half of the new product I would take up such an offer

I've paid 2,5€ + shipping for a single key, will not pay much more. And I usually buy more than one to combine shipping. I've setup alerts in my phone for new ebay sales of commodore keyboards and saw those time ago... I wish I could blacklist some ebay users.
