Wanted: projects to be released on Cartridge

Post by dragos »

There are tons of c64 Cartridge releases The Vic, however, has been severely neglected. So, if you have a game or utility that would make a great cartridge release, lets talk and see if we can get something out there!!

Thanks!

You are more than welcome to put WimBasic (from http://wimbasic.webs.com ) on a cartridge. Please let me know when you're downloading.

Wim.

Wow! Wimbasic is pretty cool. I did make a cart of it and its really nice. Thank you for allowing us to do this!

I will make it available as an option on my RAM/ROM cart as well!

Is there a cart format of WimBasic for FE3 available?
Kind regards, Peter.

I don't know what special requirements there are to an FE3 cart format file, other than removing the first two bytes (the load address).
There is a wimbasic.cart file in the zip-file now that has that.

Wim.

That was going to be my very first suggestion!! Wimbasic lol... Wimbasic with a ram expansion included would be the only thing cooler, although that might crank up the cost too high.

I was just thinking that Wimbasic is what the super expander should have been...like without "pseudo coordinates" for instance!!? You have a 1 in 5.7528089887640449438202247191011 chance of getting it correct! I remember reading that and FUMING. Just guess what pixel you're addressing! It's a game by itself!

Edit: We also have another addition to the language category, which could be a good cartridge! I would certainly buy both. The other is V-FORTH which srowe just completed.

No issue with MINIGRAFIK at even a slightly higher screen resolution of 160x192 pixels.

And we also had other good reasons to port VICtoria from SE to MG at that time. :)
